As a sponsor, you will be given the honor to play a historic part in rebuilding a legacy of a victim of racial terror by hosting a local artist created, commemorative art piece for a six-week residency in your place of business. Your sponsorship also aids in the planting of an effigial black cherry tree sapling that also commemorates a respective victim. Each sponsoring business is listed on the project's map which will be shared for the longevity of the project, including all subsequent iterations.
Given the motif of this project, Black-owned businesses are prioritized as sponsors. However, this is not meant to discourage interested sponsors of all backgrounds who wish to host a doll and commemorative black cherry tree sapling.
Sponsors are encouraged to give a donation which also sustains the necessary work of this project. Although this is not meant to inhibit interested sponsors, only cover necessary production costs. If you are unable to make the donation due to financial constraints please share via the form below as your registration will still be considered. We hope to secure further financial support to cover said expenses. Sponsorships are awarded on a first come, first serve basis.
Deadline to submit: August 20, 2021
