A LIVING LANDSCAPE OF REMEMBRANCE · JEFFERSON COUNTY, ALABAMA
Memory takes root.
Care keeps it here.
In 2024, BCTP planted 33 trees across our communities. Each planting is part of a continuing story—of remembrance, loss, renewal, and the people who care for what grows.
This map records planting locations. Historical sites connected to the people remembered are documented in People & places.

STEWARDSHIP IS PART OF REMEMBRANCE
A missing tree still has a story.
Damage and removal remain part of this record. When a tree is replaced, its earlier history will stay connected to the new planting. Your observations help BCTP decide where care, repair, or replanting is needed.
Reports are reviewed before a tree’s public condition changes. Please observe from places where you have permission to be. For an immediate hazard, contact the site’s responsible authority.
